Child Labour

There are a number of illegal mines situated all over the country, where children as young as 5 are forced to work alongside adults. Many of the deaths occuring due to this hazards are not reported to the police as the families are paid large sums by the mine owners to prevent any negative publicity.

The dangerous working conditions and lack of safety measures make these places a treacherous environment for children and adults alike. These incidents only go on to show that without strict enforcement of labour laws, child labour will always be a menace in our country.
